Study Overview

The Ohio Chamber of Commerce Research Foundation, in partnership with the Baldwin Wallace University Community Research Institute, conducted a comprehensive analysis of the economic contributions, challenges, and opportunities of Black-owned businesses in Ohio. This landmark study combines quantitative economic impact analysis with qualitative insights from Black business owners to provide a foundation for understanding the vital role these enterprises play in Ohio’s economy.
